Orchid Run 12km 2016

1. I registered myself a month ago. Me and my friends kept motivating each others and invited others to join the program.
2. The idea was simple. To run 12km, you have to practice. You will be so stupid if you just run the event without training. Yes it is possible, but the possibilities of having others are there as well; cardiac arrest, charlie horse and etc.
3. In 4 weeks time, if you keep practising and take care of what you eat, you will be a whole new better person. And after 4 weeks, hopefully it will be parts of your habits.
4. I will try to inspire and encourage people around me to live a better life. Let us do it together~

FRIM Kepong

1. First intention was to try the canopy walk of frim. To our shocked, the tickets were fully booked. In fact, you have to book 2 months earlier and get in the lines, too many people! The thing that I did not know was it is a compulsory to hire a renjer/guide to bring you inside the jungle for a fee of RM120.
2. Then we tried to rent the bicycles. The bicycles were affordable to us, RM6 for a bike and RM2 for every hour. However, they did not provide the baby carrier. Hence, we opted to walk.
3. The FRIM Gallery was nice. It explains the history of frim and shows the all the species inside it. Very nice!
4. We climbed up the waterfall. Since I have the baby, I stopped halfway since it was too dangerous for her. Next time, I will come back to finish it~

2016

Sym: why sir? Why now?
Me: why not?
........................................
long back, somewhere in April 2014, I bought a motorcycle. I travelled a lot with it, from home to office, from home to Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan and etc.
All this while, I always felt something was missing, is it the cc was too small? Maybe the color was not right? Should I add the unnecessary parts? Still, could not figure it out.
Finally, today, after close to three years, I realised that I never washed you!!!
Hence, comes the question~~

Train to Busan

Lessons learnt from Train to Busan;

1. If you ever got bitten by zombie, better to kill yourself a.s.a.p

2. Try not to get bitten by zombie (refer to no. 1 if thing happened).

3. It is okay to be fat as long as you are kind to your wife, if you do, then everybody will hail you including zombie (again, please refer to no. 2).

4. When you are about to die (if you violate no. 2), the last moment that you reminisce is your kids (even you are no.3 type of guy).

Try to avoid watching this movie late night because you will end up walking too fast towards your car and you will left behind of your wife (violate no.3).

Throw-back; scholarship offer to RCSI

1. For those who wonders how it looks like...
2. I made a bad decision for my own when I myself threw away my scholarship offer letters; MARA & JPA.
3. These are for you Aisyah :)

Bukit Keluang

1. It is a very nice beach with a fantastic view.
2. The activities are quite awesome; Boat ride and Banana Boat. With the price of RM 20/head, they will bring you around the Rhu Island. If you are lucky enough, you can see bats hover around the hill on top of your head. The activities will take you about 40 minutes!
3. They can drop you at the island for snorkelling, but you have to bring your own gears. The bottomhole views are fascinating. I have seen it...only from the boat. Next time I will dive in iA. You can take the next boat to return to the main island.
4. There is a hill for a leisure-climb up activity. I have not try this but it is part of the plan, next time iA. They said it will take only an-hour of walking for one way. So, it is not that bad actually.

The Street Art of Machang

1. From what I heard, MDM had colloboration with UiTM students for this project.
2. It made a very fine piece of art here in this small city. With few extra efforts, for sure it will be a wow factor.
3. Simply amazing!!! Kudos to the team.

A glimpse of past

1. Everytime I try to reminisce the old days, when I studied for UPSR, in high school for PMR, SPM, in KMB for IB, in USA when I struggled for my degree, somehow everything went so fast.
2. As far as I could remember, at that time, everything was so slow I suffered a lot. However, compare to now, they were nothing.
3. I guess I was influenced by something else, or I was not used to difficulties, and that made me think that ways.
4. Alhamdulillah, Allah guided me all the way, and helped me from being astray, I managed to get through.
5. It was not that bad. And I am going to say the same thing to my current me... It is not that bad, I will get through~

Things to do in life

1. Visit new places: work hard, save money, whenever possible, visit new places. Beaches, zoo, parks etc. It will make you realise that the world is so beautiful. It doesn't have to be expensive!
2. Expensive restaurant: do not spend a lot on daily food, eat something simple but necessary, save from that money. Once in a while, use that money for a fancy restaurant. Learn that etiquette. You will appreciate food better in your life.
3. Music: spend some money on music, but not that lavish. Buy a good headphone, or a good walkman, or a good phone just to enjoy music. Use your own money! You will appreciate them better, the music and the gadgets!
4. Charity/Donation: spare some money from what you gain, give it to the needy. Students, poor people, random guys on street, relatives etc. Doesn't have to be a lot, but make sure it is consistent. I.e., RM 5 every month~ you will be surprise with the satisfaction that you get...
5. Read: Buy a book, read it. Doesnt have to be a lot, but make sure it is a good quality book, not a stupid love story book.

You are in the middle of war

1. Every one has their own battles. No matter how happy they look, deep down they are fighting for something.
2. It is not about the war, it is about how do you fight it, how do you prepare for it, how do you handle the problems that come along the war. Nobody is saying it is going to be easy, but bear in mind Allah prepares it for you for a reason; that is your battle! Don't you dare saying if only you understand my battle... Because it is your battle!
3. If last time you wake up late, sleep late at night, pray on and off, eat to the fullest all the time, being inconsiderate, live a simple life and find an easy way to get rich... Maybe it is time for you to change! I am not saying you have to change 100%, but change what is necessary...
4. By fasting 2 days a week can help you save close to RM100 in a month, live a more healthy life, make you look sharp and alert to surrounding and appreciate life better. Try it!
5. Again, my point is, if you find your battles are too much, unbearable, then, re-strategise! Consult Allah! all the time! Don't be so arrogant or too shy, it is all about how do you fight for it.
