1. Growing up older, I watch some close people suffer stroke. Depending on affected parts of the brain, they suffer different kind problems.
2. One of them is my own dad. Past history was he had high BP. He refused medications and did not control his diets. On top of that, he got mad easily and a couch-potato. Long back, he was a heavy smoker but he stopped when I was in primary school.
3. As for now, the damage is done. If I can describe, he is like a lost kid, looking for his lost marbles in darkness. He keeps looking but he does not know where to start. Most of the time, he just sits still in front of tv and seems so confuse.
4. I tried asking him before. What can you remember? Can you remember this, that and so forth. The idea is just to see inside his brain. What I can conclude is it is like an album, with a lot of un-arrange pictures. Some of the pictures are very blurred and some of them are very clear, but, all of them appear in the middle of nowhere with no connection. To make it worst, you only can see/summon any pictures with certain trigger only.
5. That is fine, that is his story and we share that story among the family. My next question is, What is your own story? Could this be yours?
