The Breakout

The Breakout

1. There are two places that have/conduct this game, Avenue K and NuSentral. The cost for each of the game is quite expensive; plus minus RM50 each, with minimum of two players.

2. Since wife just finished her on call shift, Aisyah, wife and I decided to give it a try. Each of us had a role; Lock Master, TorchBearer, TheOracle. We picked the hardest of the beginner levels.

3. The game was really challenging for all of us. It required strength in memory, attentions, creativity and critical thinking. A bit of luck maybe. Since we had a 3 year old kid, we needed patience as well. Under given pressure and time, we needed to be able to link everything, with everything we had, to solve the problems. We managed to crack the mystery but we required extra time. Most of the time, We had to chase Aisyah for the torchlight in the dark-confined room since she liked to play with it.

4. This is a really good game. Recommended for all! You should have tried it!

Battery kong

Short sharing session

1. I am using battery cell basah. Meaning to say, every few months, I am supposed to check/maintain the battery-fluid level. Usually, if the fluid level drops below critical line, it will show symptoms...

2. Since TheWife uses the car, I dont really catch the symptoms. Today, while driving in Wangsa Maju, at the traffic lights, the radio started to flick. I said; did you see that? When was the last time we check the battery-fluid? TheWife said; Dont worry, it happened all the time.
What??? Since when?? You should have told me then... It means that...

3. Guess what?? That was the perfect and sweet moment for the car to stop. I tried to start for few times, but it failed. Dgn macho nya, I put on the emergency blinkers and guided the other cars to pass by. TheWife took over the driver seat and I was pushing the car from the back, since we were blocking the main road. And Aisyah was cheering and clapping, not understanding that the situation was critical...

4. I was jogging around the area, looking for auto-shops that sell battery-fluid. Since today is public holiday, none of them were opened. I jogged further ahead until I met Petronas gas station. From it, I got what I wanted and continued my marathon training to my car. After that, problem solved! All of sudden, I realised that my morning joggings were meant for this, JK...

5. Moral of the story, get to know your car, take care of it! I am glad that happened when there were 2 of us. Imagine that, it happens when you are alone, good luck then! So, that's my story, hopefully we can learn from it.

Our story, Jan 2017

1. Previously, we had a sweet escape somewhere nearby. It had been a while since our last short vacation due to time constraint.

2. On our way, While driving, I noticed there was a look-out point, by the highway side. So, I decided to stop and have a look. Since Aisyah was sleeping and that lookout point was uphill, I decided to go up the stairs by myself. There was nothing peculiar except for benches and it was surrounded by trees.

3. I decided to continue my journey. At the pit-stop area, After I washing my face, Aisyah woke up. It is our thing, before we start off the journey, I will say; Aisyah, say Bismillah....

4. And Aisyah will say the same thing to us in the car; Abah, Bismillah, Mama Bismillah. Unexpectedly, she continued; Kawan, Bismillah~...

4. Then she continued; Abah, Kawan xnak Bismillah...I said; Kawan, xnak, keluar keluar...Then she said; Okay, Kawan dah keluar...
That moment, I only wish that she was loyar buruk as I am~ lol...

Changing the old habits

Changing the old habits

1. Medical card / Takaful plan is a necessity. If you can't afford the expensive one, start with the basic. There are a lot of plans that start from $150 (that was in 2011, not quite sure now). If you can afford more, please go for it. If you barely can make it, Cut on the unnecessary expenses such as smoking etc.

2. Make a habit of reading. Pick a topic that you like the most. Medical, sports, cars and etc. Once you have, get proper-establish-endorsed books on it. By reading, it will open up your mind, make you think and you will be wiser.

3. Exercise. Why? Because it is fun. If it is not, then find another one.

Medical check up

1. I woke up at 140pm, felt so uneasy-numb ish on my left limbs. I thought probably it was nothing... Or was it?

2. Took a quick shower, prayed Dzhur and rode around on motorcycle. Thought that I needed extra boost, I got myself coffee.. Still felt uncomfort...

3. Curiously, I went to a nearby clinic to see a GP. Told him no. 1 and 2... He asked for self and family history... Bla bla...mom got diabetes, dad hypertension...non-whatsoever... So far I am free from that problems... Yet???

4. Curiously, he said, let us have sugar test, BP check and ECG. After a while, while reading the results, he asked... How much coffee exactly did you have just now?
A tall with double shots... Why?

5. Considering the coffee that you took just now, you seem perfectly okay, 122/84, 5.5 and ECG and pulse are perfect. I pretty sure that you are not looking for MC, considering it is weekends. My advise is, please rest at home. If you still feel uneasy, please come again for a chest xray...
No thanks, thank you for helping me. Probably I am too tired...

6. It seems...it is a perfect day for cendol~
Hey, at least I got something answered...! Have you???

Saving mr banks

1. I watched this movie endlessly, everytime they put it on the channel. The problem is, due to house chores and commitments, I could never sit still, it would be parts of missing scenes being added up some other time.

2. I admire the passion and intelligence of Disney, with that, eventually he got the right to the story.

3. The story made me realise that, it is neither about what you see nor what you experience, It is a how you treat it and inspire the world. We knew that a lot of good writers had terrible experiences, that's why they had creative minds. Yet, they instilled hope in the stories, make the world in positive vibes until now.

At least, I tried...

1. For a second, I thought I had planned it well. Then, I realised that I had done nothing...

2. Around 1130 am, I thought that I wanted to take half-day leave to settle few important things at bank and insurance company. I checked the websites, everything seemed okay. So, I called my wife and said that I'm gonna pick her up from hospital and we were heading to the city.

3. Half-way, wife said that her phone was left behind in the clinic. We went back for it. We had lunch by the roadside stall. I ordered Alpokat and the waitress mentioned that the last avocado just finished.

4. We went to the bank. Surprisingly, the parking was full-house. So, I said to wifey, you go inside to settle your things and I will wait in the car since we parked by the roadside. Then, we went to the insurance company. The guard said that the company is closed for today.

5. Then, I said, I wouldnt give up to the fate; I applied halfday leave! I called TGV to watch movie, they said that the next show is 430pm. I checked that the Asar prayer is 446, not a good timing. Almost gave up, I went to kedai cendol by the roadside to treat myself of the scorching sun. Then, he said that somebody ordered 30 packs of cendol just now and he finished everything already.

6. We headed to Manjaku to buy bottles for Aisyah. We always wanted to by 15 Oz bottle but we never really got the chance. At Manjaku, they were out of that size.

7. And now, I gave up... i am lying on the bed, looking at the ceiling fan, reminiscing on what happened... Thank you for reading!!!

My other weekends

1. I was shopping for basic necessities with my wife. While looking around, Out of sudden, I met with with an old friend.
2. I said "Hi, How are you, it has been a while not seeing you~" with a sincere smile...
3. She stammered, reluctantly replied and walk away...
4. I told my wife... Why she was so rude... Was it the way I say it? Was it the wrong timing...
5. "Dear... There is no proper word to describe things about you, but, we are in the lingerie section!"
6. "Let me guess, Bangang!!" And, she nodded...

Bukit Telekom

Bukit Telekom Wangsa Maju

1. Mom is not around, duty calls. So, Aisyah stucks with me, or vice-versa...

2. I am not good in staying quiet at home. Hence, we are going to see something interesting, say tangki air, buah getah, squirrels and monkeys.

3. InsyaAllah, if both of us are healthy, we are going to climb Gunung Kinabalu together. Mom is going to watch us on photos... Hahahahaha~

Education

Education

1. The main objective is not to be like Tony Stark, build and make the Ironman, or create another relativity formula.

2. The main objective is to differentiate what is right and what is wrong. To be able to give priority to the most important things than the least.

3. But then, if you choose love than your family, put aside the education and logic, in the name of religion, that is no point of it. You are not only lost, but being buried deep in your own despairs.

4. If you choose the wrong paths to get rich easily, or involve in Ponzi schemes or something similar, clearly you have failed the purpose of the education.

4. I hope that, I have the courage to change the current stupidity, to be able to say something, whenever I see high school students in love, students smoke freely in public without any guilt and etc. It seems like I am the one who should fear them. Indeed, Hidayah is not mine. Hence, I could not give it to others. But the fists are mine!!!

Dangal

1. Just watching a Bollywood movie, Dangal. I learnt a lot of things from it. The strategy to watch it was simple. We went to the indoor-playground beforehand and let the kid got busy and tired for 2 hours. Then, by the time we entered the cinema, she slept. Kudos to myself. We took the couple seat for our conveniences.

2. The movie was so inspiring and it was based on true story. To be honest, me and wife cried while watching. The simple message learnt was, if you want something, plan for it and do it even if it is against the norm.

3. Second real lesson that I learnt was do not underestimate the power of the kids. She just slept for 1 hour and after that she woke up. Thanks to the technology of phone and illegal downloading of Boboiboy, that distracted her from distracting us to continue cried while watching.

4. I hope one day, we will have our own high quality movie makers, writers and speakers that will produce high quality things to inspire our people and make our country to a better one. And If it is not too much, I hope that one day is in my lifetime. Amin~

5. And the actor kept reminding me to Rajeev. Not sure is it because of the moustache or pectoral muscle. I believe it is the former...
