Tone down that ego

Tone down that ego

1. So, the kid had a fight with the mother, causing the mom to isolate herself outside.

2. As a middle-man, I said to the kid, you had to apologise. Go and say sorry! Your mom did the same thing before. And I walked away to be with the mother inside the other room.

3. According to the mom, from what the consultant of child psy. said, we cannot entertain the kid's tantrum. We have to make the kid realize that that was her fault and make her to say sorry. Sound like a perfect plan!

4. We were in that room for 20 minutes. The kid was still outside, acting like nothing happened. Then, she became feeling guilty, she was playing close to the door, sounded like she almost wanted to knock the door, but hesitately...

5. Then I said, loud and firm; you have to apologise! That is your fault! Then, the kid started knocking the door. The door made a cracking sound, then we saw a little pony in between that door. It was her favorite toy, that she would never gave it to anybody else.

6. We interpreted that as representative, a token of apologise. Close enough! The egocentric is so high, must be coming from the mom... then we hugged her and continue with the brief-debrief session.
