1. Reality of life is not always good... but does not mean it is not memorable.
2. At the early of the marriage, I rented this house for RM 650. It was so small, had literally 2 feet wide stairs since it was located on the first floor. It has less than 10 small windows so it was so hot even at night.
3. We had tv but I could not afford to subscribe the channels. So, we survived by watching movies and reading books.
4. We rode motorcycle and visited Bundle Shop to buy clothes. There was one incident where we almost crashed because there were morons tried to snatched the handbag.
5. Weekends were filled with running at the park so that we could sleep due to fatigue afterwards. Hence, less spending.
6. Then my wife started to work. There were no salary for the first 3 months (they only paid lump sum after that). Most of the time, I sent my wife to the hospital with motorcycle. When it was raining, I still sent her but with ponchos.
7. We lived like that for a year, without realising it. Then, things got better and we moved to our current house.
8. The aim was/is to live without borrowing and within capabilities. Thank you Allah for the memories and experiences.
So which of the favors of your lord would you deny?
