1. Like the story that we all know, there was a duck who looked different than the others, that caused it to be isolated from the tribe. The duck was mocked, left to cry, laugh and play alone, even by its mother because of that. To cut it short, eventually everybody realised that the weird duck turned out to be the most beautiful thing ever because it was actually a swan.
2. I modified the story by telling my version to my daughter. I said the duck should not be sad, instead it should be happy. If nobody wants to play with it, then it should find another friends. Or, it should create other treasures-skills-things so that other ducks appreciate and demand its presence, i.e. fishing skills, good knowledge on fish per say, etc. The duck should also go to the mother and confront her for the unfair treatment.
3. I have my own reason for telling this story but my method was stupid. A 4-year-old kid was so upset with the story and she got so cranky tonight. She said I was lying, as the story was different from what have been told to her. She demanded the mother to tell her the story and asked me to go out of the room. Then I said, I dont want to change my story, because I was the duck.
4. Wifey came and said that, please come back to the reality. Okay... lol~
