Kidzania

Kidzania

1. The tickets are a bit pricey. The trick is to look for the promotional offers through its official website. Last time we checked, they offered 20% to 30% discount by having Tesco's card, McDonald's receipt or Spritzer's bottle. Funny or not, we brought the bottles and received 30% discounts.

2. Be choosy with the visiting time. If you are unfortunate enough, there could be more than 1500 kids inside there. Looking at the bright-side, the more the merrier. Other wise, will be discussed below.

3. Kidzania is a country, where your kids are grown-ups and you are just observers. Majority of the sections (games) are suitable for kids 4 y.o. and above. If your kids are below, you might want to reconsider it.

4. We managed to try 8 stations, starting from 10 am to 430 pm. Here, Aisyah had to queue in line herself and does the activities in the specific rooms with the other kids, without us (parents). She had to be a grownup (read independent).

5. From afar, we could see that she was trying so hard to communicate and be with others since she was the smallest. There were occasions were elder-kids pushed her, but other elder-kids backed her up (I saw it before my eyes from the other sides, while punching the wall!). I said to myself, that is how you learn in this real world.

6. The activities were fascinating. There were surgery, dentistry, paintings, constructions, fire-fighting, make-up, manicure and so forth. There, they planned, berkomplot and executed. Honestly speaking, this is a good place to train your kids to be independent.

P/s: Aisyah prepared her first meal, by herself. Proudly, she offered that to me and wifey. I ate while closing my eyes, too much mayonnaise! Alas, I am proud of you.
