1. I have watched this movie countless times, setiap kali tengok mesti, feel inspired and motivated.
2. Movie ni pasal kepentingan ilmu. Tanpa ilmu, mamat ni bodoh, dipenjarakan dan diseksa. Dalam penjara, beliau jumpa seorang guru dan belajar segala ilmu; Maths, Econs, Swords, Combats dll. Dengan ilmu, dia keluar penjara dan berjaya di dunia luar.
3. Ilmu bersandarkan pada usaha yang gigih, bukan gifted minds. Untuk belajar dan memahami sesuatu, one has to sacrifice time and efforts. Acap kali kita dengar someone is comparing two person for their knowledge, but rarely we compare the time spent for studying between them. Kita nak yang mudah je!
4. Kids, I am teaching both of you my knowledge to survive in this world, giving you the chances that I missed (ikut kemampuan jugak la, hehehehe). The objective is so that you can get what you want, within your capacity. Choose wisely!
5. When I was a little, I was surrounded with poverty; wealth and mind! Byk kali, I was forced to be a teacher by the society, alasan utama adalah dekat dengan kampung, senang dapat kerja, senang buat loans, engineer payah dapat kerja (referring to a few graduates kat kampung). Pilihan seems so limited, sebab kurang pengetahuan.
6. Being anything, you have to sacrifice something;
Ada kerja yang senang tapi gaji sikit,
Ada yang susah, gaji banyak tapi takde masa utk diri dan family
Ada juga yang senang, gaji banyak, ada masa tapi risky (jual dadah).
Sama mcm konsep belajar-pandai-masa juga.
7. Rajin-rajin la belajar. When the time comes, choose wisely. Forget others as they are no parts of your life. You may refer, but only for references.
